As a search professional, Gail Rockburne is well versed in manufacturing and transportation industries. Gail’s father founded a zinc die casting company-providing parts for the automotive and appliance sectors. During her summers, she worked on the factory floor.
Her fascination with transportation and logistics began while working at Global Atlanta, an online news service, where she covered these sectors through participating in Georgia’s logistics association activities.
Gail currently serves as Team Leader of the Transportation and Logistics Practice area for IRC Global Executive Search Partners Practice Group, the professional organization of which Tula Executive Search is a long-standing member.
Gail brings 25 years of first-hand experience and in-depth understanding of Canadian business practices, she is married to Carl Rockburne, a former Canadian trade diplomat. Gail holds dual-citizenship in Canada and the US. She built a successful international consulting practice in Winnipeg, Canada and served in public relations capacity for the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City after the North American Trade Agreement took effect. Her insight about trade and culture led her to be quoted in both in the American and Canadian press.
